Two weeks ago, I travelled to Berlin to visit my sister and a couple of friends who I haven't seen for years, literally. Even though I have never thought about moving to Berlin, there is something special about this city. The last time I have been to Berlin was years ago. Every time I come here, I experience the city in a new way because there is so much to explore: museums, art galleries, concerts, cafes, restaurants and not to mention options and options to go shopping.
My sister gave warnings that it already got cold in Berlin, so I made sure to pack my trusty heattech along with my recent basics: mom jeans and casual/chic tops. I remember the time I got sick of wearing (ripped) skinny jeans on a regular basis, and ditched them for culottes and suit pants as seen here and here. Unfortunately, those aren't the best options for the colder season. Recently, I have been into Mom fit jeans again. Not only are they super comfortable (highly recommended when you have a long dinner plan with friends!) and keep you warm, but they are also a great way to dress up and down with casual or chic tops.

I was only allowed a carry on luggage on my flight, which meant that I had full access to my sister's closet ;) Oversized wool coats are a must have in a winter wardrobe but I find it hard to pick one that not only keeps me warm enough but one that also has the right length and fit for my body type. Contrary to my sister, who is about 10cm taller than me, oversized wool coats can easily look like a potato sack on me. This great navy blue coat from my sister though has the perfect fit and length that somehow fits us both. I live it's thick material and the wide notched collar.
