I know I said I'll be working on my Hanoi vlog to be the next video to be uploaded on my YouTube channel after my Tokyo vlogs, BUT I changed my mind.

When I said "I am currently working on my Hanoi vlog", I honestly was already doing the editing at the time when I suddenly realised that the raw video wasn't displaying my stay like I wished despite all the footage I have taken. Sometimes you get back from a trip, you replay all the footage, and you realise - it doesn't feel right. It happens and it happened to me this time, and I have an explanation for it: I couldn't capture the whole atmosphere and emotions of the city and its people with my camera because secretively I knew, I don't want to experience these precious moments through my camera lens. I wanted to be not only physically but emotionally and mentally present, observing and absorbing the environment and people around me.

My trip to Hanoi this summer was very special and personal to me and as much as excited I was to be back as equally scared and emotional I was. This trip was scheduled and planned to be taken place end of last year, but due to different circumstances and change in my personal life as well as in my career, I had to postpone it, and it became one of my biggest regrets in life. As much as I wished to be able to turn back time, so I could actually go on this trip 11 months ago, it allowed me to appreciate life and all its opportunities on a higher and much deeper level. And that includes particularly to appreciate time well spent with people you adore, respect and feel connected to. I decided to make Hanoi my second episode of my series Life On Film, sharing some of my developed pictures that speak for themselves.
