Back in high school almost everyone was wearing either a t-shirt from their favourite band or one that had a political statement (I remember during my school exchange in California, my class mate was being scolded for wearing a George Bush print t-shirt that says "I'm with stupid"). Why am I telling you this? I have this thing for digging up old stories and reminiscing about them.

Music says A LOT about a person without the person having to say ANYTHING.
If I could travel back to 14 year old Mi, I probably would have handed her a t-shirt with the Ms. Lauryn Hill - The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill album cover, and tell her that it's perfectly fine that she wasn't shaving her eye brows like all the other girls).  However, the only band tee I have ever had in my closet is the one I am wearing here. Plus, I got it 10 years later from a vintage store in Harajuku in Japan. Beastie Boys was part of my high school years. Despite people saying that I was "listening to noise", it was just the right type of noise that I needed.

If You could travel back in time what kind of graphic t-shirt would you hand to your younger you?

t-shirt - vintage (Harajuku, Japan)
denim skirt - H&M
baseball cap - Ralph Lauren
backpack - gifted (old)
sneakers - Rode Sko
