I can never get enough of button downs, and they became part of my everyday outfit because there are so many ways to style them: wear it with your favourite pair of jeans, dress it up with a nice leather or structured skirt, or buy an oversized button down and wear it as a dress. The options are countless !

I can’t promise this will be the last time you see me in a button down on this blog as it is an essential wardrobe staple, but I will try to create better outfit posts. Where do you guys get your inspiration from?

I have to admit, lately I have been too lazy though to think about new outfit ideas hence I tend to leave the house with either one of the following combos A: denim shorts + t-shirt or B: skirt + button down (this might also be the reason why I haven’t posted another outfit post in such a long time).

When I first wore this flaired skirt from The Fifth Label, I was close to the bay area which was not the smartest decision now that I get to think of it. It all started in the morning when I was waiting for the train. One thing I love in the morning when I am on my way to work, is the moment the train comes and that breeze takes you off of your feet, it’s a good wake up call also! That day I somehow totally forgot I was wearing this floppy skirt, and I basically did the famous Marilyn Monroe move which also happened to me several times later when I was in the bay area. Apart from that, it’s a safe combo you should try out!
