Summer is here, and it hit Tokyo! Clear blue sky, a lot of sunshine and with an average temperature of 30 degrees and 80% humidity every single day, it became brutally hot and sweaty in Tokyo. Therefore this nice spot in Yoyogi called YOYOGI VILLAGE is a blessing. It is located in the middle of busy and crowded Tokyo, and a very green and eco friendly blessing to be exact.

With the weather being this summery, I wish I could escape Tokyo for a nice weekend trip but since my work keeps me so busy, there is almost never the time and chance to do so. Therefore places like Yoyogi Village are a nice plan b to completely shut off from the busy city life of Tokyo, and catch up with friends over a nice cool drink.

Another reason why I instantly fell in love with this place apart from being very green and eco friendly is the wooden interior. I cannot mention it too many times how much intrigued I am by wood as a material. Everything at this place called for a photo opp, and I am glad I decided to wear this colourful yet simple shaped dress as it goes nicely with the wooden background. I love the pattern and colors of this dress that I got from forever21 a while back, and the well placed cut out details give it that extra airy touch ;)

I finally found a nice pair of sunglasses that fit my round face shape perfectly, haha. Ever since I found these in a local store in Daikanyama, I have been wearing them constantly.
