I am wearing this super soft black tee from ZARA together with this pair of black slightly pointy boots from the same brand and some dark grey skinnies from GINA TRICOT that I have since I was how old?? I can't even remember. On busy days, I tend to take this buckle bag with me, super easy to style with and has enough room to store all my random things I carry with me to work or through Tokyo (such as three different types of mint/gum, double sided tape, an electronic dictionary, measuring tape, three lipsticks all vary in color of course...).

A few weeks ago, on a very hot Saturday in Tokyo, someone had to work instead of enjoying the nice weather outside with an iced coffee in one hand and a giant ice cream cup in the other; that someone was me. It was so hot and humid that day and my skin felt super sticky and sweaty that once I got to leave the office, I went straight to the nearest ZARA store in Shibuya to buy something more summer appropriate to change. Beside another button down (typical me), I left ZARA with the softest basic tee, both in black and white (yes, another white t-shirt, also very mi). Not only is it super soft and has a perfect cut, it is also very affordable.

These pictures were taken weeks and weeks ago when my hair was still long and colored. You can see on my Instagram (@followingmi) that I now got more than “just a trim” as well as went back to my natural hair color. This all black on black (or grey if you want to be more specific with the skinnies I am wearing), is not only a casual office appropriate wear but can easily be transformed into a night out outfit. Just put on your favorite lipstick in a bold color, and you are good to go. We walked through Daikanyama at night, and as I am naturally drawn to wood, I instantly fell in love with this building in the new shopping street in Daikanyama called LOG ROAD. The wooden material has a different effect during day and night to me.
